Responsibilities
Our client, a global retail technology organization, is seeking a Lead Support Engineer to ensure the stability, efficiency, and evolution of order and inventory orchestration systems. In this role, you will:
- Manage daily operations and service commitments: Organize ticket processing, guarantee service levels including stock accuracy KPIs and delivery timelines, and provide reinforced support during peak commercial activity periods.
- Resolve incidents and drive continuous improvement: Analyze root causes of bugs, optimize monitoring through dashboards and control towers, and automate recurring processes using technology tools and AI.
- Lead transformation projects: Challenge future functionalities with the product team, support evolution of ERP modules, and anticipate migration trajectories for major system upgrades.
- Communicate and provide on-call support: Ensure clear communication with stakeholders during maintenance windows and participate in on-call rotations for critical functions.
What We're Looking For
- Education and experience: Engineering degree (ideally in computer science) or equivalent background with proven experience in support engineering roles.
- Business and technical expertise: Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes, plus successful experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP SD and MM modules.
- Automation mindset: Passion for eliminating repetitive tasks, data tracking, and integrating AI into operational optimization.
- Technical stack familiarity: Experience with SAP ECC (SD and MM modules), monitoring dashboards, ticketing tools, and logistics control systems. Knowledge of S/4HANA migration paths is a plus.
- Soft skills: Team-oriented mindset, excellent communication abilities, rigor, priority management, and participative leadership style.
- Languages: Fluent English is essential for daily international collaboration.
