About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential AI-powered SaaS company in the short-term rental and property management space. Our client is building an operating system that helps property managers automate reservations, guest communication, pricing, payments, cleaning, maintenance, and reporting—all from one platform.
They're looking for a Product Engineer based in Paris who can take customer problems and turn them into intuitive, reliable software. You'll work across the full stack—from frontend interfaces to backend automation engines and AI-powered workflows—owning features from concept through production.
Responsibilities
- Build customer-facing features, operational dashboards, automation engines, and AI-powered workflows end-to-end
- Work directly with property managers and internal teams to understand workflows, identify friction, and decide which problems to solve
- Collaborate with designers to create intuitive interfaces that make complex operations easy to manage
- Develop event-driven workflows that eliminate repetitive work—scheduling, communication, reporting, and coordination across the rental lifecycle
- Build AI-powered features using LLMs and agents to automate guest communication, triage maintenance requests, and support pricing decisions
- Create reliable APIs and integrations with platforms like Airbnb, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, and other ecosystem partners
- Solve operational problems including reservation synchronization, dynamic pricing, smart lock access, automated guest communication, cleaning and maintenance automation, and owner reporting
- Use customer feedback, product usage, and operational results to measure success and improve features based on adoption and user outcomes
- Make technical decisions that balance delivery speed, maintainability, security, and reliability as the platform scales
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Strong experience building and shipping production software
- Ability to work across frontend and backend systems
- Experience with React, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, or similar technologies
- Strong understanding of APIs, databases, integrations, and cloud architecture
- Product mindset and curiosity about why users need a feature
- Good judgment around usability, scope, and technical trade-offs
- Ability to turn ambiguous problems into practical, working solutions
- Confidence working directly with customers, designers, and founders
- Ability to work independently and own outcomes
- Curiosity about AI, automation, and operational efficiency
- Bias toward shipping, learning, and iterating
