Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential research and events organization in Leipzig for a working student position in corporate communications and market research.

In this role, you will support the communications and partner relations team while gaining hands-on experience across various B2B communication and research activities:

• Research and editorial work: Gather data and facts on current industry topics and prepare them for publications and client deliverables
• Data collection and analysis: Support the design of industry and customer surveys, assist during field phases, and help derive and present insights from collected data
• Content creation: Research and write specialist articles, support production of various editorial formats including newsletters and website content
• Communications exposure: Gain insights into different communication channels including whitepapers, social media, and press relations
• Event coverage: Assist the editorial team with live reporting at events, gaining direct exposure to current industry discussions
• Independent projects: Take ownership of smaller editorial or market research projects and contribute your own ideas

What We're Looking For

Academic background:

• Currently enrolled in social sciences, communications, journalism, or a comparable program
• At least two semesters remaining in your studies

Skills and experience:

• Initial knowledge of data collection and analysis methods
• Enthusiasm for writing with a strong feel for language
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and present information clearly
• Confident use of MS Office and digital tools, with some experience using generative AI
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
• Previous editorial experience is advantageous but not required
