About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential organization in the insurance sector based in Leipzig. They are seeking a working student to join their innovation and new business development team for 15-20 hours per week. This role offers hands-on experience with emerging technologies, startup ecosystems, and innovation trends within the insurance industry.

This position is ideal for students who want to gain practical experience alongside their studies, working with new technologies, business models, and the InsurTech landscape.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations and project work related to innovation and new business initiatives in the insurance sector
• Research and analyze current trends, technologies, business opportunities, and market developments
• Contribute creatively to developing new ideas and formats from initial concept through implementation
• Work on trend analysis projects, researching and evaluating new developments, preparing content, conducting plausibility checks, and creating supporting documentation
• Assist with conception, preparation, and execution of workshops, events, and other exchange formats
• Help create presentations and working materials for various stakeholders
• Prepare insights, trends, and impulses in target-group-appropriate formats for different communication channels
• Participate actively in startup network activities, researching new companies and business models, identifying interesting new players, and supporting pitch events

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled at a university with at least two semesters remaining in your program
• Very good German language skills (required for this role)
• Strong interest in innovation, new technologies, trends, and business models
• Enjoy researching and can structure and present information clearly
• Confident using standard MS Office applications
• Work independently and carefully with attention to detail
• Curious, creative mindset with enthusiasm for contributing your own ideas
• Interest in generative AI and some initial experience with AI tools
• Availability for 15-20 hours per week
