Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential sustainability organization in Berlin that is looking for a working student to support their renewable fuels and energy team. In this role, you will:

• Support the specialist team with tasks related to hydrogen, synthetic fuels, and biofuels, with particular focus on innovative applications in aviation and maritime transport
• Assist the team in responding to inquiries from federal ministry stakeholders and contribute to well-founded, precise deliverables
• Prepare data, studies, and content in an audience-appropriate manner, making complex relationships understandable through clear visualizations
• Share responsibility for preparation and follow-up of meetings, and support the organization and execution of workshops and other event formats
• Contribute to the team's online presence by supporting the maintenance and development of website and social media content

What We're Looking For

• Current enrollment in a university program in energy economics, economics, political science, natural sciences, engineering, or a related field
• Excellent German language skills (native or C1 level) with strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of presenting content appropriately for specialist audiences in online contexts
• Willingness to work at least 40% of working time on-site at the Berlin office (Fasanenstrasse area)
• Independent and structured work style, strong teamwork skills, and ability to actively contribute ideas
• Ability to quickly grasp complex content and present it in an understandable, concise manner
• Strong technical interest in renewable fuels; prior subject knowledge is a plus
• Very good MS Office skills (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Good English language skills

This position offers a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. The working hours are flexible and can be adapted to your study schedule, ideally around 19.5 hours per week. Up to 60% remote work is possible. The role includes a subsidized public transport ticket and wellness benefits.
