US Remote Technical Support Advisor

We are representing a confidential technology services organization seeking a Technical Support Advisor to join their remote team. This is a fully remote position available to candidates anywhere in the United States. You'll be part of a dynamic call center environment where your technical knowledge and customer service skills will help resolve complex issues and create positive experiences.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries via phone, providing tailored solutions to technical problems
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to iOS, macOS, smartphones, tablets, and PCs
• Research solutions using multiple systems while delivering efficient, real-time support
• Communicate clearly and professionally through both verbal and written channels
• Adapt communication style to connect with diverse customers and respond to their unique needs
• Collaborate with team members to share expertise and achieve collective goals
• Maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations
• Navigate multiple software tools and systems simultaneously to resolve customer issues

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in customer support or technical assistance, ideally in a call center environment
• Strong understanding of iOS, macOS, smartphones, tablets, or PC platforms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Problem-solving abilities with a flexible, adaptable approach to challenges
• Resilience under pressure and ability to remain professional when facing criticism or setbacks
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills
• Openness to feedback and coaching with a continuous improvement mindset
• Experience in customer-facing roles (volunteer or academic experience acceptable)
• Remote work requirements: Private, quiet workspace; reliable internet (minimum 20 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload); hardwired ethernet connection (Wi-Fi not acceptable); ergonomic desk setup

Compensation and Benefits
