Partnerships and Fundraising Officer

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential social-impact organization seeking a Partnerships and Fundraising Officer based in Berlin. In this role, you will report to the Global Head of Partnerships and support the expansion of funding pipelines across Europe, with particular focus on the UK, Germany, Poland, Italy, and Spain.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Drafting persuasive funding proposals, concept notes, and application forms that clearly articulate program impact and align with donor guidelines
• Coordinating with internal teams to ensure high-quality submissions meet all deadlines
• Maintaining and updating the prospective donor database and CRM system
• Tracking leads through each stage of the funding pipeline, from initial identification through proposal submission
• Conducting targeted research to identify funding opportunities, corporate CSR initiatives, and foundation prospects across European markets
• Providing administrative and logistical support for partner communications, including tracking outreach history and scheduling meetings
• Assisting with regular update reports for ongoing donors

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in a fundraising or sales role at an international company or non-profit organization
• Proven track record of successfully securing project funding
• Strong writing and editing skills with demonstrated ability to craft compelling proposals
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with partners and donors from diverse cultural and organizational backgrounds
• Client-first mindset and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Native-level or professional fluency in English is essential
• Existing relationships with donors and funding networks in European markets are a strong asset
