Strategic Alliances Principal – UK&I

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential HR technology organization seeking a Strategic Alliances Principal to execute field-level alliance strategies with embedded partners across the UK and Ireland. In this role, you will work on the ground—virtually and in person—with partners' sales teams, sales leaders, and solution consultants to build trust, create demand, and convert ecosystem engagement into qualified pipeline for global payroll, employer of record, and contractor management solutions.

You will partner closely with embedded sales, partner marketing, sales enablement, solutions consulting, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure our client is consistently positioned in the right opportunities.

Relationship building and field activation:

• Build and maintain ground-level relationships with partners' field stakeholders including account executives, account managers, sales leadership, solution consultants, and specialists
• Run account mapping and coverage planning with partners' go-to-market teams to identify priority accounts and active initiatives
• Embed into partners' cadences such as pipeline reviews, regional meetings, and enablement sessions to drive consistent activation

Pipeline sourcing and co-sell support:

• Proactively source opportunities for global payroll, employer of record, and contractor management from partners' field teams and related system integrators
• Support co-sell execution including qualification, stakeholder mapping, mutual action plans, and coordination of the right resources
• Maintain accurate reporting on relationship coverage, sourced and influenced pipeline, conversion, and next steps

Awareness, enablement, and events:

• Drive awareness of the client's value proposition through targeted enablement moments, content distribution, and local advocacy
• Partner with marketing to organize, sponsor, and attend field and ecosystem events
• Own event execution for your territory including targeting, meeting scheduling, on-site engagement, and post-event conversion

Operating rhythm and continuous improvement:

• Follow a disciplined weekly operating rhythm including field touchpoints, pipeline reviews, and internal syncs
• Capture partner feedback and competitive insights and share clear signals back to the wider team
• Help build and refine alliance playbooks and reusable assets as the motion scales

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience with strategic alliance partners and their ecosystem, including field organization dynamics, partner motions, and decision-making processes
• Strong relationship-building skills and comfort operating with senior field stakeholders
• Track record of sourcing and progressing pipeline in multi-stakeholder enterprise contexts such as alliances, partnerships, sales, or partner go-to-market roles
• Highly organized operator who runs a tight cadence, follows through, and keeps data and reporting clean
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel 50–70%
• Demonstrates strong automation and AI capabilities and fluency
