Senior Product Director, Client Engagement Group

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for a Senior Product Director, Client Engagement Group. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the world.

Our client is seeking a strategic product leader to own the vision and execution for their customer engagement platform—including CRM, email campaigns, marketing automations, and transactional communications. You'll define the multi-year strategy for transforming their current tools into a unified engagement hub that competes with best-in-class solutions while leveraging unique data and ecosystem advantages.

This position reports directly to executive leadership and plays a critical role in driving product attach, reducing churn, and strengthening the platform's competitive position in the service commerce landscape.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the multi-year product vision and strategy for customer engagement products spanning CRM, email campaigns, automations, transactional communications, and emerging channels including SMS
• Own the email campaigns business line end-to-end with direct accountability for revenue performance, engagement strategies, and roadmap decisions
• Build toward a competitive, full-featured customer engagement platform by prioritizing investments in business CRM, transactional automations, flexible communication channels, and advanced segmentation
• Lead, grow, and mentor a team of product managers across multiple product lines, establishing standards for hypothesis-driven development and customer-centricity
• Partner with Engineering and Design functional leads to deliver outcomes and maintain velocity on high-priority initiatives
• Collaborate across the broader platform ecosystem to ensure deep integration of engagement products with commerce, growth, and financial solutions
• Champion the use of data and AI to create smarter automation flows, personalized outreach, and differentiated customer engagement experiences
• Shape the process, craft, and standards for senior product leadership across the organization

What We're Looking For

• 12+ years of product management experience with substantial time spent building and scaling customer engagement, CRM, marketing, or communications products
• 5+ years leading and developing teams of product managers in complex, multi-product environments
• Deep familiarity with the customer engagement and email service provider landscape with informed perspective on competitive differentiation
• Demonstrated ability to own a revenue-generating product line with accountability for business outcomes beyond product delivery
• Strong strategic instincts paired with bias for execution; comfortable operating at the intersection of vision-setting and day-to-day team unblocking
• Excellent communicator and cross-functional partner with credibility to influence senior leadership and align stakeholders across product, engineering, commercial, and marketing functions
• Experience applying hypothesis-driven development and experimentation to accelerate product-market fit and grow adoption
