Junior HR Generalist (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential German organization seeking a Junior HR Generalist to join their people team. In this role, you will:

• Support employees throughout the complete employee lifecycle, from onboarding through employment changes to offboarding
• Handle administrative HR tasks including preparation of employment certificates, reports, appointment coordination, and documentation
• Assist with recruiting and operational applicant management activities, including creating and publishing job advertisements, pre-screening applications, and managing initial candidate communication across multiple channels
• Support pre-boarding and onboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience
• Contribute ideas to streamline and improve existing HR workflows and processes
• Gradually take on additional HR topics and projects independently as you develop your expertise

What We're Looking For

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or degree with focus on human resources
• Ideally some initial experience in HR (junior-level role)
• Structured and independent working style with ability to manage multiple parallel processes
• Strong communication skills combined with discretion when handling sensitive data and information
• High sense of duty and responsibility
• Digital-first mindset with experience using modern HR tools and good IT understanding
• Team player mentality with collaborative approach
• German language proficiency required for this role in Gescher, Germany
