Technical Product Owner – C++ SDK & Get A Job.ai Suite

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential medical imaging organization seeking a Technical Product Owner to take ownership of their C++ SDK and core software platform. In this role, you will:

• Own and continuously develop the product vision, roadmap, backlog, and prioritization for the C++ SDK and associated software suite
• Align the SDK roadmap with the broader company and platform strategy
• Gather requirements from customers, internal users, product teams, engineering, and management, translating them into clear priorities
• Coordinate development activities and releases across teams and components to ensure cohesive product delivery
• Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, capacity, and technical trade-offs
• Balance short-term delivery needs with technical quality and long-term product development
• Drive resource planning, support team growth, and gradually assume functional and people leadership responsibilities

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Several years of experience as a software engineer with a solid understanding of programming and software development
• Proven experience owning or coordinating a technically complex software product, platform, or large-scale engineering initiative
• Experience developing roadmaps, managing requirements, setting priorities, and coordinating delivery across multiple teams and stakeholders
• Experience coordinating, mentoring, or enabling software engineers; formal leadership experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of APIs, software architecture, testing, technical debt, maintainability, versioning, and backwards compatibility
• Experience with capacity and resource planning, including translating roadmap needs into staffing requirements
• Hands-on experience adapting SDK requirements, architecture, and product roadmaps to advances in AI

Ideal candidates will also have:

• Experience with C++ development or ownership of a C++-based product or platform
• Experience with developer-facing products or SDKs
• Background in medical imaging, computer vision, or another technically complex software domain
• Location in Munich or surrounding area with ability to work regularly from the Munich office

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and are competitive for the Munich market, including performance-based bonus components.
