Senior Full Stack Engineer, Agentic Workflows (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing robotics technology company that is building autonomous solutions for industrial manufacturing. Our client is scaling rapidly and needs a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and implement agentic workflows that power their solution delivery process.

In this role, you'll build AI-powered workflows that run behind the scenes of customer projects—from requirements review through deployment. You'll create agents that check artifacts, catch risks early, and make organizational knowledge available throughout the delivery process. This is a ground-floor opportunity to define how our client uses AI internally while building reusable patterns and components for the entire engineering organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy agentic workflows across the delivery pipeline—requirements review, automated quality gates, risk detection, and knowledge management—taking full ownership from concept through production
• Create reusable components, skills, and patterns for tool integrations, feedback loops, authentication, and secret management across the agentic stack
• Own quality end-to-end: design and run evaluations, monitor agents in production, and manage observability, cost controls, guardrails, and security
• Build human-in-the-loop workflows where team reviews and corrections feed back into improved prompts, evaluations, and components
• Embed with delivery teams to understand their workflows, identify high-leverage automation opportunities, and collaboratively define success criteria
• Drive internal AI adoption by delivering agents through existing tools, establishing best practices, and creating pathways for teams to build their own agents

What We're Looking For

• Several years of software engineering experience with the ability to take ambiguous problems through to production systems with clean architecture and maintainable code
• Proven track record shipping LLM-powered or agentic systems that users depend on in production (not just prototypes)—including tool calling, structured outputs, and multi-step workflows
• Deep practical experience with the agentic stack in production: orchestration, tool use, MCP, memory, and retrieval
• Strong context engineering and prompt engineering skills—you treat prompts as versioned, tested artifacts and have rigorous methods for evaluating output quality
• Experience building knowledge bases and implementing RAG pipelines to make organizational information reliably available
• Systems thinking and component mindset: while building the first agent, you're already planning for the second and tenth
• Genuine interest in collaborating with non-engineering teams, understanding their processes, and designing automation around their actual workflows
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, plus experience with SaaS APIs, webhooks, and practical systems integration
• Startup mentality: ownership of outcomes, intentional scoping, pragmatic solutions, and shipping quickly
• Fluent English (German is a plus)
