Business Solutions Analyst (f/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential adtech organization seeking a Business Solutions Analyst to join their anti-fraud operations in Hamburg. Our client processes hundreds of millions of daily ad events across a global platform, and this role sits at the critical intersection of data analysis, fraud prevention, and business stakeholder communication.

As part of their Advertising Analytics team, you'll be the technical bridge between complex fraud detection systems and business decision-makers, translating behavioral patterns and technical findings into actionable intelligence that protects revenue and platform integrity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for anti-fraud initiatives, working directly with business stakeholders to diagnose and resolve fraud-related issues
• Investigate suspicious behavioral and technical patterns across large-scale ad delivery systems processing millions of daily events
• Build and maintain analytical infrastructure using SQL, Python, and workflow orchestration tools to support fraud detection and traffic quality monitoring
• Design reporting, monitoring, and alerting systems that scale across global operations
• Translate complex data findings from asynchronous ad delivery pipelines into clear, actionable business recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize technical issues and implement data-driven fraud prevention strategies

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in a Data, AdOps, or Business Operations role
• Strong SQL skills including CTEs, joins, and aggregations—you should be comfortable writing complex queries independently
• Analytical mindset with ability to diagnose issues in complex, asynchronous systems
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight, or similar platforms
• Ability to build scalable solutions and think beyond one-off analyses
• Strong communication skills to bridge technical and business audiences
• Plus: Experience with Airflow, dbt, or API integrations
• Plus: Background in anti-fraud, anomaly detection, or adtech analytics
• Plus: Familiarity with mobile app analytics
