Junior Teamleiter Last Mile Logistik (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization seeking a Junior Team Leader for their last-mile distribution hub in Frankfurt an der Oder, Brandenburg. In this role, you will:

• Lead and develop your team: Recruit, coach, and guide drivers to success while organizing team-building events to strengthen collaboration.
• Manage daily operations: Oversee shift planning, onboard new team members, and ensure smooth operational flow at the distribution facility.
• Coordinate inbound deliveries: Take responsibility when trucks arrive with fresh goods, verify shipments, and organize rapid restocking when needed.
• Drive process excellence: Maintain operational KPIs, ensure safety-first practices, and keep the facility running efficiently.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with customer success teams, central warehouses, and other distribution hubs to deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure on-time departures: Guarantee drivers leave punctually to meet promised delivery windows for customers.
• Contribute ideas: From coordinating electric vehicle maintenance to optimizing hub layout and recruitment processes, your input will help scale logistics operations.

What We're Looking For

• Completed vocational training or degree in logistics, retail, or related fields
• Initial team leadership experience, whether professional or coaching other successful teams
• Fluent German and basic English communication skills
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Strong communication abilities and confident presence
• Data-driven decision-making approach based on facts and metrics
