Teamleiter Last Mile Logistik (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization seeking a Last Mile Team Leader for their distribution hub in Frankfurt an der Oder, Brandenburg. In this role, you will:

• Lead and develop your team: Recruit, coach, and motivate delivery drivers to achieve operational excellence. Plan team events to strengthen cohesion and engagement.
• Manage shift operations: Oversee shift planning, onboard new team members, and ensure smooth daily operations at the distribution hub.
• Coordinate inbound deliveries: Take responsibility when trucks arrive with goods, verify shipments, and organize expedited replenishments when needed to maintain inventory flow.
• Drive process excellence: Monitor operational KPIs continuously, maintain safety-first standards, and ensure all procedures run efficiently.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with customer success teams, the central warehouse, and other distribution sites to deliver outstanding service.
• Ensure on-time departures: Coordinate drivers to meet delivery time windows and maintain punctuality commitments to customers.
• Contribute strategic improvements: Bring your ideas to vehicle maintenance coordination, hub layout optimization, recruitment processes, and overall logistics enhancement.

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or vocational training in logistics, retail, or related fields
• Previous team leadership experience, either professionally or through coaching other successful teams
• Fluent German and basic English communication skills
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Strong communication abilities and confident demeanor
• Data-driven decision-making approach using metrics and facts
