Machine Learning Consultant (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential data science consulting organization in Munich, Germany. Our talent team is seeking a Machine Learning Consultant to join their technical practice. In this role, you'll work directly with enterprise clients across multiple industries to deliver end-to-end AI and data solutions.

This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge machine learning projects from conception through implementation, collaborating with clients in banking, insurance, automotive, retail, and other sectors. You'll be part of a team that values technical excellence, continuous learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Research and prototype innovative AI solutions that create measurable value for enterprise clients
• Guide clients through the complete project lifecycle, from strategic workshops through technical implementation
• Implement customer-specific machine learning use cases using modern cloud-based architectures
• Develop data modeling solutions and create compelling data visualizations to improve client decision-making
• Build and deploy data science applications using contemporary ML frameworks and tools
• Design and coordinate cloud infrastructure projects, including data lakes and data warehouses
• Work with large language models, including agents, RAG systems, and vector databases

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, or a related quantitative field
• Professional experience or demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or similar languages
• Hands-on experience with large language models, including agents, RAG architectures, and vector databases
• Fluent English and German language skills at C1 level or higher (mandatory requirement)
• Knowledge of visualization and frontend technologies strongly preferred

Desired qualifications:

• Experience developing and managing cloud infrastructure solutions
• Background in consulting or client-facing technical roles
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or Apache Spark
• Interest in agile project management methodologies
