Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization seeking a Warehouse Logistics Team Leader (all genders) in Hannover. In this role, you will ensure smooth daily operations and reliable achievement of business objectives. You will maintain oversight of all processes, resources, and priorities while ensuring your team executes structured, efficient, and productive workflows.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Team Leadership: Lead and coach temporary workers, including shift planning and task allocation to achieve all relevant shift KPIs. Support team member development through regular constructive feedback and foster a productive, collegial team culture.
• Operational Management: Ensure smooth warehouse operations and optimize resource deployment to continuously achieve production targets in collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Process Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve operational processes and associated metrics to increase efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• SOPs & Standardization: Develop, implement, and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with cross-functional teams and the Learning & Development department.
• Compliance & Audits: Conduct audits to sustainably ensure standards for food safety as well as occupational health and safety.
• Operational Problem-Solving: Independently implement problem-solving measures and escalate to the Operations Lead when necessary.
• Project Management: Lead or support ad-hoc projects and coordinate service and support functions.

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or vocational training in Business/Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experience in logistics, a distribution center, production, or a comparable operational environment with solid understanding of warehouse or production processes
• Confident application of software and system solutions across various areas
• Experience in advanced data analysis using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Grafana, or Tableau, and interpreting data to support business decisions
• Structured working style and confident handling of parallel tasks and changing priorities
• Fluent German (minimum C1 level) and good English skills (minimum B2 level)
