Senior Baumanager Wind / Senior Construction Manager Wind (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a Senior Construction Manager for wind energy projects based in Hamburg. In this role, you will take full ownership of wind park realization from detailed execution planning through commissioning and handover.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Managing complex construction projects independently across all phases, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Leading and coordinating internal and external project stakeholders including specialist planners, construction companies, grid operators, and all trades
• Making critical decisions during challenging project phases and taking ownership when it matters most
• Conducting contract negotiations with service providers and implementing economically and technically optimal solutions
• Actively troubleshooting on-site challenges and driving projects to successful completion
• Planning, controlling, and monitoring schedules, budgets, and quality; identifying risks early and implementing appropriate countermeasures

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• A completed degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Renewable Energy
• Several years of experience in construction or project management, ideally within the wind energy sector
• Strong decision-making ability, negotiation skills, and excellent communication capabilities
• Structured, quality-conscious, and safety-focused working style with the ability to maintain oversight in complex situations
• Team-oriented mindset with solution-focused thinking and a pronounced hands-on mentality
• German language proficiency required for stakeholder coordination and documentation
