Consultant Professional Services (w/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential enterprise content management organization in the Nuremberg area. Our client is seeking a Consultant for their Professional Services team to lead customer projects, manage complex requirements, and deliver innovative solutions in digital information management and process automation.

This role combines technical expertise with client-facing consulting, offering the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including AI, workflow automation, and intelligent document processing. You'll take ownership of projects from conception through to ongoing operations, working in a flexible hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer projects in input management and process optimization from both technical and conceptual perspectives
• Manage customer relationships and guide project team members through complex implementations
• Handle requirements management and project delivery within Professional Services scope
• Provide long-term, comprehensive support for customer projects from initial design through live operations
• Design and implement complex technical solutions for document and information capture using various platforms and standard products
• Configure and roll out tailored solutions in close coordination with customers
• Communicate complex processes and technical concepts clearly to customers
• Coordinate closely with internal development, product management, and partners while articulating functional requirements

What We're Looking For

• Completed vocational training (e.g., IT specialist) or degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
• Experience in process analysis, process modeling, or IT consulting
• Strong knowledge of software configuration, interfaces, and databases (e.g., MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with input management or BPM solutions is advantageous
• Knowledge of N8N, BPMN, and LLM technologies
• Interest in artificial intelligence, automation, and emerging technologies
• Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
• Strong communication abilities with customer and solution-focused orientation
• Analytical thinking and structured working approach
• Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
• Willingness to travel and enjoy working with people
• Courage to contribute ideas, take ownership, and actively shape solutions
