About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential aerospace technology company in their search for a Working Student Manufacturing Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge electric propulsion and battery system development for next-generation aviation applications. You'll work hands-on with advanced energy storage systems and support the industrialization of innovative aerospace components.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly of advanced battery modules, packs, and subcomponents from initial testing through final integration
• Support manufacturing process development including assembly sequences, tooling concepts, and quality control procedures
• Conduct manufacturability assessments for new designs, identifying tolerance issues, risks, and opportunities for design simplification
• Help create and maintain work instructions, assembly documentation, and quality inspection sheets for internal and external manufacturing partners
• Support shop-floor organization including inventory management, fixture preparation, and maintaining safe, clean working environments

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials science, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
• Strong interest in battery technology, energy storage, or electric propulsion systems
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, electronics assembly, or laboratory work highly valued
• Familiarity with CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks, NX) for designing fixtures, jigs, or creating assembly drawings
• Structured, reliable, and proactive working style with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented workshop environment with tools, adhesives, and prototype components
• Working proficiency in English required; German is a plus
