Venture Development Intern – New Products (AI x Greentech) (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing, venture-backed greentech startup in Berlin that is building AI-powered solutions to accelerate the energy transition. Our client is seeking a Venture Development Intern to join their New Products team and help drive strategic initiatives from concept to market.

This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Berlin for 4-6 months. C2 German proficiency is required for this role, along with fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly build deep understanding of new markets, technologies, and customer challenges through direct client conversations and research
• Drive the end-to-end launch of new digital products and services, working closely with senior leadership from initial concept through market rollout
• Conduct daily customer conversations to identify pain points, validate solutions, and actively promote new features while gathering real-world feedback
• Own early-stage product management and cross-functional execution for new initiatives, including shaping value propositions, defining MVPs, and prioritizing features
• Coordinate across sales, marketing, and technology teams to ensure fast, smooth product launches
• Align stakeholders and manage execution of strategic projects that directly impact business growth

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled at a top university, ideally with entrepreneurial focus
• C2 level German and fluent English required
• Previous experience in a startup environment strongly preferred
• Hands-on, execution-focused mindset with willingness to dive into details
• Curiosity about how technology, operations, and business strategy intersect in high-growth companies
• Structured thinking combined with comfort running analyses and making data-driven decisions
• Willingness to invest time beyond standard hours when needed
• Available for 4-6 month full-time internship in Berlin
• Able to work on-site five days per week
