Performance Marketing Manager (F/M/*)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI SaaS organization in the DACH region as they scale their performance marketing function. Our client is building business intelligence solutions that help mid-market companies unlock internal knowledge through advanced AI platforms. As their Performance Marketing Manager, you'll own the paid acquisition strategy across Google, LinkedIn, and Meta—turning budget into qualified pipeline and driving measurable growth in a fast-moving B2B environment.

This role is based in Köln with a hybrid work model (3 days per week on-site). You'll collaborate with product, sales, and customer success teams to translate complex AI capabilities into compelling campaigns that resonate with enterprise buyers across German-speaking markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute performance marketing strategy for a B2B SaaS platform, managing campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Meta with clear ROI accountability
• Build and optimize data-driven funnels with sharp audience targeting and high-converting creative to reduce customer acquisition costs
• Translate technical AI product features into clear, persuasive messaging for enterprise decision-makers
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer success to align campaign messaging with solution value propositions
• Create and distribute content across channels including blog posts, whitepapers, LinkedIn, case studies, and webinars focused on AI and knowledge management themes
• Analyze competitive landscape, market trends, and performance data to inform campaign strategy and tactical adjustments
• Develop lead generation and brand awareness campaigns, with particular focus on LinkedIn, events, PR, and content marketing
• Support product launches by positioning new features clearly and driving go-to-market execution
• Plan and execute presence at events, conferences, and webinars to establish thought leadership
• Leverage marketing automation, analytics platforms, and AI tools to continuously optimize campaign performance

What We're Looking For

• Several years of hands-on performance marketing experience in fast-growth B2B SaaS, ideally with international European exposure
• Deep operational expertise in launching and optimizing digital campaigns on business platforms (LinkedIn, Google Ads, Meta)
• Broad marketing toolkit spanning campaign management, webinar planning, social media, SEO/GEO, and SEA
• Analytical mindset with confidence managing KPIs across the full customer journey from awareness through conversion
• Experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms; ability to quickly learn existing workflows and drive continuous improvement
• Fluent written and spoken communication in both German and English, comfortable engaging diverse stakeholders
• Understanding of AI, enterprise search, or knowledge management solutions is a strong advantage
• Legal authorization to work in Germany required; candidates must be based in Germany
