Field Sales Trainer (UK South)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organisation experiencing significant growth across the UK market. They are seeking a Field Sales Trainer to join their Sales Training team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with strong possibility of extension. This is an office-first position based in London, covering the South of the UK.

This role sits at the heart of commercial excellence, turning new field sales representatives into high-performing contributors while continuously elevating the capabilities of existing team members. You'll have direct impact on activation rates, sales performance, and business growth across the region.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging onboarding programmes for up to 60 new field sales representatives per month through live workshops and self-directed learning content
• Lead role-play assessments and accreditations to evaluate sales readiness, providing constructive feedback to ensure new hires are equipped for success
• Track and analyse activation rates and performance data to measure training effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
• Partner with the existing UK trainer and training leadership to design and continuously improve programmes that drive sales volume, quality, and product adoption
• Collaborate with Territory Managers, recruiters, and Sales Enablement to share insights on candidate readiness and early performance
• Travel across the South of the UK to deliver in-person training sessions as needed

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience delivering live and virtual sales training, including facilitation of role-play and accreditation sessions
• Excellent coaching and feedback skills with ability to engage people at different experience levels
• Track record of connecting training initiatives directly to commercial outcomes such as activation rates and sales results
• Experience creating and adapting training materials, assessments, and self-directed content in fast-paced environments
• Strong knowledge of digital learning platforms (LMS), sales tools, and blended learning approaches
• Valid UK driving licence and comfort with regular travel across the South of the UK
• Ability to take ownership and drive results in a high-volume, fast-moving environment
