Sales Trainer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing fintech client in their search for a Sales Trainer to join their UK operations on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an office-first role based in London, with travel across the South of the UK.

Our client is scaling their field sales force rapidly, and they need someone who can turn new hires into confident, effective sales representatives from day one. You'll be delivering high-impact onboarding, running assessments, and working directly with commercial leadership to ensure training drives real business results.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging onboarding workshops for up to 60 new field sales representatives per month, using a blend of live and self-directed learning
• Lead role-play assessments and accreditations to evaluate sales readiness and provide constructive, actionable feedback
• Track activation rates and new hire performance metrics to measure training effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
• Partner with the existing training team to continuously refine programmes that drive sales volume, quality, and product adoption
• Collaborate with territory managers, recruiters, and enablement teams to share insights on candidate readiness and early-stage performance

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience delivering live and virtual sales training, including facilitation of role-play and accreditation sessions
• Strong coaching and feedback skills, with the ability to engage learners at different experience levels
• Demonstrated ability to connect training initiatives to commercial outcomes such as activation rates and sales performance
• Experience creating and adapting training materials, assessments, and self-directed content in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Working knowledge of digital learning platforms (LMS), sales tools, and blended learning approaches
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the South of the UK for in-person training delivery
