Working Student – European Security Programme (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential international policy organization seeking a Working Student to support their European Security Programme. In this role, you will assist with event management, logistics coordination, and research activities that keep critical international discussions moving forward.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Organizing events by preparing participant lists, sending invitations, tracking registrations, and liaising with attendees
• Supporting research efforts by following relevant debates and monitoring political developments
• Handling logistical arrangements including coordination with venues, hotels, and catering companies
• Managing the programme inbox and ensuring timely communication with partners and participants
• Updating and maintaining contact databases to support ongoing programme operations

What We're Looking For

Our client requires candidates who are currently enrolled students at a German university or higher education institution. Graduates are not eligible for this position.

Required qualifications:

• Currently studying Political Science, International Relations, Event Management, or a related field
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Critical thinking, research, and analytical capabilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (fluency required)
• Eligible to work in Germany
