Founders Associate – Engagement Innovation (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential mobile app company seeking a Founders Associate focused on engagement innovation. In this role, you will:

• Partner directly with leadership to identify and implement features that drive user excitement and retention
• Collaborate across product teams to uncover engagement opportunities without introducing unnecessary process overhead
• Generate a continuous pipeline of actionable ideas, ranging from microcopy adjustments to major feature concepts
• Analyze top-performing consumer applications across gaming, social, commerce, and education to extract transferable engagement patterns
• Transform concepts into executable formats—concise briefs, mockups, or test plans—that accelerate implementation
• Champion ideas through to launch by providing hands-on support to shipping teams
• Measure outcomes objectively, communicate results transparently, and make data-driven decisions to scale or terminate initiatives
• Elevate the organization's collective understanding of engagement mechanics over time

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone with:

• Exceptional consumer product instincts with the ability to deconstruct why products create addictive, engaging experiences
• Extremely high agency—you identify problems, propose solutions, and drive them to completion independently
• Genuine obsession with engagement mechanics in leading consumer products across gaming, social platforms, commerce, or education
• Proven track record of shipping ideas that moved measurable business metrics
• Strong data fluency and the ability to interpret experiment results honestly, including negative outcomes
• Clear, persuasive communication skills that resonate with both technical and executive audiences
• Confidence to challenge assumptions and disagree constructively, even as the newest team member
• Fluent English communication, written and spoken

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with casual, hyper-casual, or rewarded mobile gaming
• Background in LiveOps: events, seasonal content, progression systems, or in-game economies
• Hands-on A/B testing experience, including test design and analysis
• Technical or design capability to create mockups independently
• Knowledge of loyalty mechanics, rewards programs, or mobile advertising ecosystems
