About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential mobile gaming client seeking a Lead UX/UI Designer to shape the design vision for a platform used by millions of players worldwide. This is a unique opportunity to drive player engagement, refine gamification strategies, and lead a talented design team in Berlin's thriving tech scene.

Our client operates in the rewarded gaming space, where user experience directly impacts retention and business growth. You'll balance bold creative vision with data-driven decision-making, while coaching designers and integrating modern AI-assisted workflows to unlock operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the user experience design lifecycle from concept through launch for a top-performing mobile entertainment platform
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of product designers working across iOS, Android, and web
• Develop and advocate for design vision that drives measurable business outcomes while delighting players
• Create user-centric wireframes, prototypes, and mockups with particular focus on content discovery and loyalty gamification
• Build and evolve comprehensive design guidelines and maintain the design system
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions within technical constraints
• Champion AI-assisted design tools and automation to streamline creative workflows and improve team velocity
• Apply platform best practices for iOS and Android to ensure seamless, high-quality interactions
• Transform research insights and analytics into actionable design concepts
• Establish scalable design processes and proactively identify opportunities to enhance product usability
• Stay current with mobile gaming trends, advertising ecosystems, and emerging design technologies

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of experience leading mobile product design teams, ideally within entertainment or gaming
• Proven track record scaling or refining established design teams and processes
• Portfolio demonstrating impactful mobile design work with measurable business results
• Deep expertise in gamification and user engagement design
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to craft excellence
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken

Nice to Have:

• Background designing for loyalty or rewards platforms
• Direct mobile gaming industry experience
• Deep understanding of mobile gaming trends and the advertising landscape
