We are representing a confidential SaaS client in Munich seeking a Finance Systems and FP&A Manager to transform their financial data infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of finance, systems, and analytics—turning complex data into scalable, automated reporting while reducing manual processes across the finance function.

As they continue to scale, they need someone who can build smarter connections between systems, models, and actuals—moving beyond spreadsheet-heavy workflows to create a finance function where intelligent systems enable better decisions.

Responsibilities

• Continuously improve the finance data landscape by reducing manual touchpoints, optimizing system integrations, and making reporting and planning processes more scalable
• Connect finance systems and source data across multiple platforms including subscription management, CRM, accounting, and cash forecasting tools to create a unified finance ecosystem
• Own the logic between accounting actuals, management reporting, forecasting, and financial models, ensuring leadership receives clear, consistent, and decision-ready insights
• Automate and optimize recurring finance processes such as monthly reporting, cash forecasting, actuals consolidation, commission calculations, and KPI monitoring
• Design and improve integrations, APIs, and finance tooling to eliminate manual exports, uploads, reconciliations, and spreadsheet maintenance
• Build a finance function where smart systems handle operational tasks, allowing the team to focus on insights, strategic decisions, and business impact

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Finance Operations, Business Analytics, Commercial Finance, or similar finance data-focused roles within SaaS or recurring revenue businesses
• Deep familiarity with SaaS metrics including ARR, MRR, churn, and CAC
• Strong FP&A fundamentals across financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and management reporting
• Hands-on experience improving finance systems, integrations, or automation workflows—ideally including APIs, AI-enabled workflows, or ERP-related projects
• A builder mindset with genuine curiosity about how finance, data, and systems work together
• Advanced Excel skills with confidence working with large datasets, complex models, pivots, queries, validation logic, and reporting structures
• Fluent English skills; German is a plus but not required
