Outbound Sales Representative

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential automotive technology company seeking an Outbound Sales Representative to join their team in Bournemouth. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-growing platform that connects car sellers with buyers through an innovative online auction process.

In this role, you'll be the crucial link between customers looking to sell their vehicles and the auction platform, ensuring sellers are fully prepared, informed, and confident throughout their journey. You'll manage your own pipeline, provide expert guidance, and help maximize successful sales outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of potential customers looking to sell their vehicles through the online auction platform
• Review and verify car listings for accuracy and completeness, proactively working with sellers to address any gaps or errors before auction
• Provide expert advice to customers, helping balance their price expectations with market realities to maximize sale success
• Clearly explain the auction process to sellers, ensuring they understand each step and are committed to the platform
• Handle negotiations and customer objections professionally and effectively
• Communicate with sellers across multiple channels including phone, email, live chat, and SMS
• Maintain accurate records of all seller interactions and ensure seamless handovers to other teams
• Consistently meet individual targets for vehicles listed and pipeline conversion
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and contribute to overall platform growth

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience working in a target-focused sales environment and managing a pipeline independently
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers
• Proactive and customer-focused approach with a genuine desire to help sellers achieve their goals
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure listing accuracy and efficient follow-up
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Comfort working across various communication channels (phone, email, live chat, SMS)
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts between 9am-7pm, Monday to Sunday (37.5 hours per week)
• Availability for hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days per week in the Bournemouth office
• Enthusiasm for the automotive industry is a plus
