Internship Go-to-Market Engineering, AI & Automation (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization expanding across Europe. They are building the technical infrastructure behind their revenue engine and need an ambitious engineering intern to help automate and scale their Go-to-Market operations.

This is a hands-on role where you will work directly with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to identify bottlenecks, build internal tools, automate workflows, and deploy AI where it creates measurable commercial impact. You will be working alongside senior leadership and shipping solutions that are used immediately.

Responsibilities

• Build internal applications and workflows powering the entire customer lifecycle – from first lead to closed customer and expansion
• Identify repetitive or inefficient workflows across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success and automate them
• Create automations for lead enrichment, routing, qualification, follow-ups, pipeline management, customer onboarding, and retention
• Connect the GTM stack and ensure information moves reliably between systems
• Build AI-powered workflows to qualify and prioritize leads, analyze calls and customer interactions, identify opportunities and risks, and generate insights
• Experiment rapidly with new models and tools and turn successful experiments into reliable internal products
• Personally implement solutions using Python, TypeScript, n8n workflows, API connections, database queries, or internal application prototypes
• Drive measurable commercial impact by helping generate more pipeline, increase conversion, shorten sales cycles, or improve retention

What We're Looking For

• Strong technical skills with hands-on experience in Python and/or TypeScript
• Practical experience building automations and integrations using tools such as n8n and APIs
• Comfortable working with databases, APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines
• Interest in Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and the systems behind how SaaS companies create revenue
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into technical solutions without needing detailed specifications
• A builder's mindset – when you see a broken process, your instinct is to understand it and build something better
• Comfortable moving fast, iterating, and shipping a first version before everything is perfect
• Fluent in English; German or another European language is a plus

Bonus points: Experience in a dynamic start-up environment, familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Aircall, Stripe, Intercom, or PostHog, or previous work on internal tools, AI agents, lead-scoring systems, enrichment pipelines, or automated workflows.

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and are dependent on experience level and the client's internship structure.
