About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential cleantech organization in their search for a Senior Corporate Development Manager based in Berlin. This is a rare opportunity to lead end-to-end M&A integration projects and drive organizational transformation in the renewable energy sector.

We are looking for a strategic operator who can harmonize complex organizations post-acquisition, establish robust project governance, and deliver measurable results. You will serve as the overall integration lead, working directly with C-level stakeholders to align cross-functional teams and navigate change management across both entities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end M&A integration projects as overall program lead, establishing project governance and ensuring measurable outcomes
• Transform complex, unstructured process and data landscapes into clear target operating models with actionable roadmaps
• Analytically identify process and system gaps between merging organizations, design sustainable target processes, and guide functional teams through hands-on implementation and data consolidation
• Align cross-functional leadership and C-level stakeholders from both organizations toward shared milestones, independently resolve conflicts and resistance, and moderate change processes sustainably
• Establish an AI-first methodology by building productive AI agents, low-code automation workflows (e.g., n8n, Make, Claude), and data dashboards to integrate heterogeneous data sources and maximize integration velocity
• Develop decision-ready materials and strategic recommendations for executive leadership

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or comparable field with above-average academic performance
• 3-4+ years of relevant experience in top-tier strategy/transformation consulting, M&A environments, or corporate development roles within scale-ups, with demonstrated track record of independently steering complex projects to completion
• Proven ability to combine strategic thinking with operational execution, comfortable with detailed data and process work, and pragmatic in resolving bottlenecks
• Senior-level project governance capabilities: confidently managing multifaceted M&A and transformation projects, maintaining visibility of dependencies, and remaining decisive amid shifting priorities
• Sophisticated C-level and stakeholder management skills: communicating at eye level with executive leadership and functional teams, presenting results with conviction, and independently resolving goal conflicts
• Analytical excellence with rapid ability to penetrate heterogeneous data and system landscapes, identify synergies, and develop robust target processes and decision templates
• Advanced proficiency with GenAI tools and low-code platforms (e.g., Claude, Make, n8n) to automate processes and efficiently structure data flows
• Fluency in German and English at C2 level (written and spoken)
