Senior ML Ops Engineer - Travel Technology Marketplace

We are representing a confidential travel technology organization seeking a Senior ML Ops Engineer to join their London-based team. This is a remote position with hybrid flexibility (minimum 2 visits per month to the London office). Candidates must be based in London or within 1.5 hours of the city.

Responsibilities

Our client's mission is to make data scientists more productive and enable broader utilization of machine learning techniques to improve business performance. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Data Science and Machine Learning teams to build cutting-edge ML infrastructure. Your responsibilities include:

• Empowering Data Science and ML teams by providing the tools and infrastructure necessary for seamless execution of data science and machine learning tasks
• Supporting tech stack evolution by developing across existing systems while contributing to AWS cloud migration, leveraging the latest available services
• Designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable infrastructure to support pre-computed, batch, and real-time model needs
• Ensuring smooth deployment and operation of machine learning models across all lifecycle stages
• Fostering a culture of innovation by generating and promoting new ideas within the ML Ops domain
• Finding creative solutions to complex problems and pushing technical boundaries

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of ML Ops experience focused on building modern ML infrastructure catering to all stages of model lifecycle, including development, deployment, management, and monitoring
• Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP, demonstrating proficiency in leveraging cloud services for scalable and reliable ML Ops solutions
• Strong grasp of Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
• Data Engineering experience on the cloud, preferably GCP or AWS
• Previous exposure to technologies such as Python, Spark, Pandas, Docker, Kubernetes, Seldon, MLFlow, Sagemaker, Valohai, ArgoCD, Argo Workflow, Postgres, BigQuery, and Java is highly desirable
• Ability to develop across a diverse technology stack with willingness to adopt new technologies
• Demonstrated experience participating in cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
• Excellent ability to break down complex problems into simple solutions
• Experience with CI/CD processes and platforms
• Ability to effectively operate both independently and as part of a team
• Sense of ownership, urgency, and pride in your work
• High-quality verbal and written communication skills
