Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential technology client in Berlin who is seeking a Working Student for System Administration to join their dynamic IT team. In this role, you will:
- Serve as first-line support for hardware and software issues, assisting employees with IT infrastructure questions in the Berlin office
- Support provisioning and maintenance of Windows and macOS environments, ensuring colleagues have high-speed, reliable equipment
- Help manage local networks and assist with troubleshooting, analysis, and documentation
- Contribute ideas to improve existing workflows through customized automation
- Assist with cybersecurity measures, backup creation, and overall IT security initiatives
What We're Looking For
Our client values practical experience over formal credentials and seeks a versatile IT professional who is currently enrolled at university. The ideal candidate will have:
- Hands-on experience with help desk user support and Google Workspace
- Familiarity with VLAN and VPN setup, as well as Windows and macOS systems
- Programming knowledge is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple inquiries simultaneously with reliability and motivation
- Current enrollment as a student with availability to work up to 20 hours per week
- Location in Berlin/Brandenburg with appreciation for working from a Berlin Mitte office
- Very good English skills required; German language skills are a plus
