Werkstudent Einkauf für Tiefbau- und Planungsleistungen im Glasfaserausbau (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential telecommunications infrastructure organization in their search for a working student to support procurement operations for fiber-optic expansion projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement while continuing your studies.

In this role, you will:

• Support operational and strategic procurement activities for civil engineering and planning services related to infrastructure projects
• Participate actively in tendering processes by preparing documentation, soliciting offers, reviewing and comparing proposals, and assisting with award decisions and contract negotiations
• Conduct market research on pricing, suppliers, and offers while maintaining procurement, supplier, and contract databases
• Create evaluations and presentations to support procurement decisions and process optimization
• Collaborate with technical, planning, project management, and controlling departments to understand cross-functional business operations
• Manage your own tasks and smaller procurement projects independently after onboarding
• Support order processing and documentation activities

What We're Looking For

Our talent team is seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled student in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Law, or a comparable degree program
• Genuine interest in procurement processes for civil engineering and planning services
• Ideally, prior practical experience from internships or working student positions
• Strong attention to detail with structured and reliable work habits
• Basic understanding of and interest in technical, organizational, and legal processes related to civil engineering and planning services
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
• Collaborative team player who communicates openly with colleagues and external partners
• Self-motivated with the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
• Available for a minimum commitment of 12 months
