About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential telecommunications infrastructure organization seeking a Working Student in Accounting for their Düsseldorf office with remote flexibility. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building finance operations from the ground up.

Our client is scaling their Finance Operations organization, and you'll gain exposure to accounting, reporting, finance systems, and treasury functions. You'll take on real process ownership and contribute to efficiency-building projects in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the accounting team with day-to-day operations and take ownership of specific processes such as invoice processing
• Assist in the preparation of financial closings and reporting activities
• Participate in finance projects, including potential ERP system implementation
• Support the development and optimization of end-to-end finance processes
• Provide advisory support to other business units on finance-related matters
• Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
• German proficiency at C1 level and English at B2 level
• Strong communication skills and a high degree of independence
• Proactive mindset with eagerness to take on responsibility and contribute ideas
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Engaged, open personality with enthusiasm for contributing to a growing organization
• Ideally, some prior practical experience in accounting within an industrial company or audit/advisory environment
