Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Business Development Representative in Munich. In this role, you will be instrumental in generating pipeline by building value-led relationships with mid-market and enterprise accounts through email, social media, and other channels.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Researching target accounts and contacts to understand their goals and pain-points, identifying opportunities for relevant engagement
• Meeting MQL and pipeline generation targets by setting up qualified meetings between prospective customers and sales representatives
• Creating and executing pre-event campaigns to drive event participation and schedule meetings
• Attending industry events and conferences as required
• Executing timely, personalized post-event follow-up to convert conversations and leads into qualified meetings
• Leveraging marketing campaigns and content for optimized outreach
• Writing professional, tailored email and communication materials that maximize engagement
• Managing sales tools and combining intelligence from multiple sources to prioritize outreach based on intent
• Maintaining meticulous records of contact and collaboration across Sales and Marketing teams

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in a business development role at a B2B technology organization
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; German is an advantage
• A passion for cold email writing and engaging with people to connect challenges with solutions
• Drive for delivering results and working to targets with positivity and resourcefulness
• Resilience, tenacity, and the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks with urgency and focus
• Interest in technology and AI
• Familiarity with CRM systems
• Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team across Marketing and Sales
• Hybrid working approach, spending two days per week in the Munich office
• Knowledge of the financial services sector is a significant advantage
