Customer Value Partner (German Speaking)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Customer Value Partner to own the complete customer lifecycle. In this role, you will be the single point of accountability from initial scoping through implementation and ongoing growth—no handoffs, no relay races. You carry each account from start to finish.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Managing delivery end-to-end according to established best practices and methodology, building plans, tracking progress, and reporting with clarity
• Understanding what value truly means for each customer in their own numbers and business context, then designing and driving joint success plans that align delivery to real objectives and regulatory requirements
• Owning commercial outcomes including gross and net revenue retention for your portfolio, building and proving the confidence that gets deals signed and renewed
• Monitoring usage and performance relentlessly, turning insights into optimization work that reduces false positives, returns analyst hours, and accelerates investigations
• Leveraging AI and agentic AI tools to work faster and sharper—streamlining account analysis, QBR preparation, and reporting so your time focuses on judgment and relationships
• Supporting the sales cycle as a credibility engine, brought into pre-sale conversations to demonstrate delivery capability backed by your own track record
• Building and defending executive relationships across accounts, ensuring leadership sees and articulates value in their own words

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone who consolidates customer success, engagement management, and delivery into one accountable role. The ideal candidate brings:

• 5+ years in customer-facing roles within B2B enterprise software, spanning customer success, engagement management, or delivery/project management
• Proven track record managing accounts at $500K+ ARR, including cross-sell or expansion work you can explain in detail
• Comfort owning a delivery plan end-to-end—scoping, tracking, and reporting—without needing a separate project manager in the room
• Strong understanding of SaaS and enterprise software delivery models; experience in AML, fraud prevention, or regulated financial services is a significant advantage
• Hands-on experience using AI and agentic AI tools to work faster, sharpen analysis, and raise the quality of customer deliverables
• Genuine comfort operating at C-suite level, running governance calls and translating delivery status into executive conversations
• A bias toward ownership over process—you understand what value actually means and close gaps yourself rather than waiting for others
• Experience in or appetite for a startup or scale-up environment where the account model is still evolving
• Fluent German and English communication skills

Bonus: Additional European language skills and prior experience carrying both commercial numbers and delivery outcomes for the same accounts are strong advantages.
