AI Automation Specialist – Marketing & GTM (d/f/m)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization in Berlin that is transforming how marketing teams operate in an AI-first era. This is a founding-engineer role building the automation layer of their marketing operating system—where you'll design and ship agentic systems that eliminate repetitive work and unlock exponential output gains.

You'll embed directly with marketing teams—creative production, paid acquisition, CRM, SEO, analytics—identify workflows that consume the most time or limit output, and build AI-powered systems to remove those bottlenecks. This isn't configuration work. You're building software: agent harnesses, orchestration layers, data pipelines, and internal tools that turn multi-day processes into automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced agentic systems including multi-step agent harnesses with orchestration, tool interfaces, guardrails, memory, and evaluation loops
• Embed with marketing teams to map actual workflows, identify where hours disappear or quality plateaus, and eliminate those constraints through automation
• Build the technical infrastructure for an agentic operating model—determine build vs. buy decisions, own architecture, handle deployment and DevOps
• Automate complex workflows across creative production, channel operations, experimentation, and reporting
• Systematize successful automations: abstract patterns, modularize solutions, and scale tools across the organization
• Enable marketing team members to become builders themselves through tooling, documentation, and direct coaching

What We're Looking For

The Core Profile: You work at the intersection of marketing, engineering, and analytics. We hire from two equally valued backgrounds: software engineers who want to solve marketing problems, or marketing-automation/MarTech builders with genuine full-stack engineering capabilities. Either way, you ship systems—not just configure them.

Required Experience:

• Proven track record building internal tools, automation pipelines, or backend integrations that materially changed how work gets done
• Hands-on experience with modern AI-assisted build tools (agent frameworks, model APIs, Claude Code or similar)
• Fluency with REST APIs, webhooks, data pipelines, and platform integration (creative suites, ad network APIs, CRM systems)
• Solid foundation in analytics and data management—understanding how data flows through systems to power automated operations
• High agency and comfort with ambiguity: you define your own roadmap, set success metrics, and ship end-to-end
• Relentless curiosity about AI capabilities and how they transform marketing operations
