About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software organization with operations across multiple German cities. Our talent team is seeking an Application and Software Support Specialist to ensure seamless application operations for enterprise clients. This role combines technical administration, client communication, and system optimization in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor application operations across on-premises and cloud environments for client installations
  • Provide support, administration, and configuration of enterprise software solutions
  • Execute software updates, system testing, and quality assurance procedures
  • Assist first-level support teams with application-related technical inquiries
  • Serve as liaison between clients and internal development teams for issue resolution and feature requests
  • Perform customization and data model adjustments to meet client specifications
  • Document processes and maintain system configuration records

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, or completed vocational training in a related technical field
  • Experience in application operations or software administration (prior hands-on experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages such as C# is desirable
  • Genuine interest in exploring new technologies and continuous professional development
  • Background in the energy sector is advantageous but not required
  • Strong independent work ethic combined with excellent teamwork capabilities
  • High communication skills and client-facing professionalism
  • German language proficiency required for client interaction

Locations and Flexibility

Positions available in Dortmund, Hamburg, Erfurt, Karlsruhe, and Leipzig. Full-time and part-time arrangements (minimum 32 hours per week) are available to accommodate your personal needs.
