Responsibilities

Our client, a confidential consumer brand organization in Hamburg, is seeking a creative Content Creator for TikTok to join their marketing team as a working student. In this role, you will:

• Build and grow the company's TikTok presence by developing original video concepts from initial ideas through final editing
• Create engaging short-form video content including product features, behind-the-scenes moments, team culture, and community-focused formats
• Edit your own content to platform-native standards that resonate with TikTok audiences
• Monitor emerging TikTok trends early and translate them into brand-relevant content ideas for weekly editorial meetings
• Develop creative concepts, stories, and hooks that capture attention and drive engagement
• Plan content and video ideas aligned with product launches and promotional campaigns within an editorial calendar
• Test different formats, analyze performance metrics, and continuously optimize content strategy
• Prepare monthly performance and content reporting
• Collaborate closely with the Content and Communications team to ensure brand consistency and campaign alignment

What We're Looking For

We're representing a client searching for someone who combines TikTok expertise with hands-on video production skills:

• Currently enrolled in a Master's program related to Media, Communications, Marketing, Design, or Film
• Deep understanding of TikTok mechanics—why videos succeed based on hooks, pacing, sound selection, and trend timing
• Practical experience as a content creator through your own channel or in a professional context
• Proficiency in video editing software such as CapCut, with basic knowledge of video production including camera work, lighting, and audio
• Comfortable and authentic on camera with the ability to connect naturally with audiences
• Fluent German communication skills for content creation and team collaboration
• Self-starting creative mindset that experiments with original ideas rather than simply replicating existing content
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver independently
• Bonus: Please share a link to your TikTok channel or submit a short video introducing yourself and demonstrating your on-camera presence
