Cybersecurity Management Consultant(m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consulting firm seeking a Cybersecurity Management Consultant to join their Munich-based team. In this role, you will:

• Support clients in implementing regulatory and cybersecurity requirements including NIS2, DORA, eIDAS, ISO 27001, and the EU AI Act, translating them into practical, operational processes
• Develop analyses, concepts, and target operating models for complex cybersecurity topics such as digital identity management, AI security, and AI observability, driving implementation through to completion
• Lead projects as a project manager or take responsibility for individual work packages and workstreams, depending on your experience level
• Assess existing client structures, identify risks and gaps, and derive concrete measures and implementation plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Business, and Compliance to develop sustainable, effective solutions
• Present complex technical topics in a compelling manner to both expert audiences and board-level stakeholders
• Progress from individual work packages into sub-project and project leadership roles as you gain experience
• Contribute to internal initiatives, proposals, and practice development by staying current with cybersecurity and regulatory developments

What We're Looking For

• A completed degree with good to very good results in business administration, business informatics, engineering, mathematics, natural sciences, or a comparable field
• At least two years of professional experience in a relevant environment, ideally in consulting or a strategic role
• A strong understanding of IT with interest in developing knowledge in new and complex topics (in-depth technical expertise is not required)
• Structured, analytical working style with the ability to make complex topics accessible for management audiences
• Confident communication skills across different target audiences and formats, with comfort presenting to senior stakeholders
• Initiative, energy, willingness to learn, and strong team spirit with readiness to take on responsibility
• Excellent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both languages)
