AI Security (Senior) Consultant (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity consultancy seeking an AI Security Consultant at both mid-level and senior levels. In this role, you will:

• Analyze business processes, organizational structures, and technical systems to identify optimization opportunities through AI implementation
• Advise business units on developing tailored AI strategies to enhance cybersecurity effectiveness and efficiency
• Support project or program management for client engagements
• Prepare and facilitate workshops and training sessions on AI security topics
• Create reporting materials and presentations for decision-makers and committees
• Support project and stakeholder management, coordinating involved parties and ensuring transparency on progress and risks
• Monitor market and technology trends in AI security and derive insights for client projects

Additionally at Senior Level:

• Advise clients on the secure introduction and use of AI solutions, helping them assess opportunities and risks
• Support executives and project stakeholders with strategic questions regarding AI within existing security structures
• Lead and oversee AI security projects from analysis through implementation, acting as the central interface between business units, IT, and security
• Design, organize, and facilitate workshops, assessments, and training on AI security, including risk assessment and secure use of generative AI
• Document results, prepare management materials, and present appropriately to diverse stakeholders
• Develop and evaluate practical concepts and guidelines for securing AI applications

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in business administration, business informatics, technical, scientific, mathematical, or related discipline
• 1–2 years of professional experience for mid-level role or 2–5 years for senior-level role
• Interest in topics related to secure AI development, secure use of AI applications, or using AI to improve cybersecurity
• Structured and pragmatic work approach with ability to quickly learn new topics
• Open and empathetic personality
• Team player who is motivated, performance-oriented, flexible, communicative, and proactive
• Comfort with technical concepts and ability to bridge development and management perspectives
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel
• Very good German and English language skills (at least C1 level in both)

Additionally at Senior Level:

• Confident expertise in secure AI development, secure use of AI applications, or using AI to improve cybersecurity
• Solid knowledge of modern project management methodologies and understanding of business processes in IT and cybersecurity
• Creative, motivated team player with strong initiative and passion for innovative ideas and building client relationships
• Analytical and visionary thinking combined with excellent presentation and communication skills
• Ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts and confidently advise clients
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills with confident client interaction
