Commercial Account Executive (Postcode 4 and 5)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise software organization in their search for a Commercial Account Executive for a remote territory. In this field sales role, you will drive revenue by selling complex data management solutions to both existing customers and new accounts through direct engagement and partner channels.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Identifying and qualifying leads to generate new business opportunities and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
• Maintaining consistent face-to-face meeting activity with customers, prospects, and partners
• Developing and executing a territory plan that leverages partner relationships and existing connections to build a robust new-logo pipeline
• Building strategic relationships with local channel partners to drive pipeline generation
• Leading partner enablement efforts, including sales and technical training programs
• Preparing and delivering sales proposals with quantifiable business cases and strategic value propositions
• Negotiating and closing complex deals while following internal sales processes and tools
• Coordinating executive briefings and maintaining high-touch relationships with strategic accounts
• Ensuring all orders meet legal and financial requirements

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 5 years of proven success in software sales, specifically selling complex platforms rather than point solutions
• At least 2 years of demonstrated success identifying, building relationships with, and selling through channel partners
• Strong understanding of the storage management or data protection industry, including products, competitors, and emerging trends
• Background in IT infrastructure
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and listening skills
• Proven track record of new account acquisition and territory management
• Ability to articulate complex technical solutions and align them to customer business challenges
