Senior Director Technical Product Management, Core Systems and Enterprise Develo

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global travel technology organization seeking a Senior Director of Technical Product Management for their Core Systems and Enterprise Development portfolio. This is a remote position open to candidates across North America and select international locations.

In this senior leadership role, you will own the technical product vision, platform roadmap, and measurable business outcomes for a critical portfolio of enterprise systems. You'll partner with engineering, architecture, security, and business stakeholders to translate customer needs into scalable, secure solutions while making high-stakes prioritization decisions and driving adoption of platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define technical product vision including platform boundaries, capability models, and architecture direction for your portfolio
• Own sequencing and prioritization of epics across platform capabilities, integrations, and modernization initiatives; make final trade-off decisions balancing value, risk, and technical feasibility
• Establish and track KPIs measuring product team effectiveness, initiative progress, and business impact
• Translate product intent into clear technical requirements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics with defined outcomes and constraints
• Drive operational excellence for delivered capabilities including incident learnings, reliability improvements, and performance/cost optimization
• Define adoption and usage metrics for platform capabilities (API consumption, active integrations, feature utilization) and lead continuous improvement efforts
• Lead cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, and business teams without direct reporting authority

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in product management, technical product management, platform product ownership, or software/solutions engineering leadership with proven product accountability
• Demonstrated ownership of platform roadmaps, APIs/integrations, and modernization initiatives in B2B or enterprise environments
• Strong technical fluency across distributed systems, data contracts, and cloud-native delivery concepts; ability to engage deeply with architects and engineers
• Proven track record making and defending complex prioritization decisions that balance business value with reliability, security, performance, and cost considerations
• Exceptional ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Authorization to work in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Spain, Poland, Netherlands, Mexico, or Colombia

Pay

The client has indicated a salary range of $100,000 to $150,000 USD for this position, with actual compensation depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. This is a full-time, remote opportunity with flexible working arrangements.
