Supply Chain Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Supply Chain Specialist in Munich. Our client develops advanced software platforms and requires a hands-on professional to manage end-to-end supply chain operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners while providing strategic and operational oversight across a global value chain.

Responsibilities

• Run the planning, controlling, and optimization of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, scheduling, and order management
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies across the supply chain
• Serve as the primary operational liaison between purchasing, production planning, logistics, engineering, and sales teams
• Design and implement improvements to supply chain processes and tools, including ERP configuration, reporting enhancements, and workflow automation
• Document processes, develop standard operating procedures, and drive adoption across the organization
• Prepare and analyze reports, providing timely and accurate KPI reporting on delivery performance and inventory levels
• Act as the first point of escalation for supply disruptions, component shortages, and logistics failures
• Oversee daily supply chain operations, ensuring purchase orders, shipments, and inventory movements are executed on time and in full
• Maintain contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies for critical components and high-risk supply categories
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics partners

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of professional experience in a supply chain-related role (logistics, planning, procurement, or customer service)
• Strong hands-on mentality with willingness to support operational tasks as needed
• High level of flexibility, motivation, and reliability
• Confident use of Google Workspace (G Suite)
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite
• Solid Excel skills and quick understanding of digital tools
• Fluency in English and German (spoken and written) is required
• Team player with a structured and proactive working style and strong communication skills
• EU citizenship required
