About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential enterprise AI platform company seeking an Associate UX Designer to join their product team in Paris. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a sophisticated data science platform alongside experienced designers, product managers, and developers. You'll contribute to creating intuitive solutions that balance ease of use with powerful technical capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, execution, and analysis of concept validation studies with supervision from senior team members
- Research user behaviors, expectations, and benchmark competitive solutions in the market
- Assist in preparing and delivering presentations of findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Translate design decisions and UX recommendations into wireframes and interactive prototypes
- Create and test user flows and low-fidelity prototypes to validate design concepts
- Collaborate with engineers to understand technical constraints and overcome design challenges
- Contribute to the maintenance of style guides and design language systems
- Research and stay current with trends in UX and design practices
- Learn to understand the constraints and needs of various industries including finance and healthcare
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Miro, or similar tools
- 0 to 2 years of relevant UX design experience
- Understanding of user-centered design approaches and tools including wireframes, journey maps, and user flows
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide rationale for design decisions
- Portfolio featuring student or professional examples of interaction design work
Preferred qualifications:
- Degree (BS or MS) in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience integrating user feedback into design practices
- Experience working collaboratively in a design team
- Experience with professional software development environments
- Curiosity for complex technical systems and data-driven products
