About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential intelligence firm building a specialised expert network focused on the global data-centre sector. They are seeking an experienced data-centre professional currently active in the United Kingdom market to provide ongoing market intelligence and insights.
This is a flexible, part-time consulting engagement—approximately 2 to 4 paid hours per month—ideal for a working professional who wants to contribute expertise while maintaining their current role.
Responsibilities
- Participate in short monthly research calls to provide market intelligence
- Review market data and identify missing or inaccurate information
- Explain important changes and trends in the local UK data-centre market
- Assess the likelihood and timing of new developments and projects
- Provide intelligence on projects, operators, investors and major customers
- Review forecasts and explain which local signals could affect outcomes
- Contribute practical insights on supply and demand, power availability, project pipelines, construction activity, investment, regulation, pricing and operator strategy
What We're Looking For
Required Experience:
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the data-centre industry
- Currently operating in or closely involved with the United Kingdom data-centre market
- Strong and current knowledge of local market conditions
- Firsthand exposure to commercial or strategic decisions in the sector
- A valid LinkedIn profile showing relevant professional experience
Relevant Areas of Expertise (one or more):
- Data-centre development and investment
- Colocation and hyperscale operations
- Site selection and land acquisition
- Power procurement and grid connections
- Construction, engineering and project delivery
- Capacity, take-up, vacancy and pricing analysis

- Cloud, AI and high-performance computing infrastructure
