Audio Content Recorder (English language, South African regional variant)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology client seeking participants for an audio data collection initiative that supports the advancement of voice recognition systems. In this role, you will record natural, everyday speech using your personal mobile device in a variety of real-world settings. Your recordings will capture authentic spoken content on general topics, reflecting different background conditions and speaking styles. Each audio file must be submitted in MP3 or MP4 format and contain the minimum spoken content specified by project guidelines. All recordings must remain non-sensitive and exclude any personal or private information.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Recording and submitting audio files in the specified format
• Ensuring all recordings meet minimum content and quality requirements
• Speaking naturally on general, everyday topics in English (South African regional variant)
• Capturing audio across different environments and background conditions
• Maintaining clear and understandable speech quality throughout all submissions
• Following all project guidelines and technical instructions
