Senior Operations Manager (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fashion e-commerce company seeking a Senior Operations Manager to take end-to-end ownership of their operational infrastructure. This role encompasses forecasting, production coordination, inbound logistics, inventory management, and cost control.

• Demand forecasting and production coordination: Own demand planning and order management with production partners; drive new product launches from setup through operational readiness
• Inbound logistics and inventory: Plan cost-efficient transportation and manage stock levels across warehouse and retail locations to maintain availability targets and prevent stockouts
• Process oversight and automation: Oversee fulfillment, returns, and after-sales processes while continuously driving automation and quality improvements
• Cost management and reporting: Monitor logistics costs, validate invoices, and own operations KPI reporting
• Cross-functional partnership: Serve as the key operational partner across Product, Customer Service, Finance, and external vendors to improve warehouse and logistics processes
• Project leadership: Lead cross-team initiatives to continuously enhance the operations framework
• Packaging coordination: Ensure reliable packaging material supply across partners and locations

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics management, ideally in fashion, e-commerce, or retail
• Proven track record of owning a function end-to-end, including inventory planning, demand forecasting, and cost/KPI frameworks
• Strong affinity for AI and automation tools with a genuine drive to improve process efficiency
• Clear vision and understanding of state-of-the-art operations setups and processes
• True hands-on mentality — equally comfortable executing and designing processes
• Confident managing external partners and aligning cross-functional teams
• Comfortable with e-commerce and operations tools such as Shopify and project management platforms
• Structured, detail-oriented, and ownership-driven working style
• Fluent in English and German; Italian is a plus
• Full-time availability, based in or around Munich (office option available), with remote-first flexibility
