Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential digital performance marketing organization seeking a Bulgarian SEO Specialist. This freelance position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse international client portfolio spanning multiple European markets. The ideal candidate will bring native Bulgarian language skills and proven SEO expertise to support keyword research, content optimization, and technical SEO initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and planning for Bulgarian-language markets
- Optimize metadata and on-page elements for search engine performance
- Translate keywords bidirectionally between English and Bulgarian
- Perform content optimization and SEO copywriting
- Manage and analyze SEO data using industry-standard tools
- Execute technical on-page optimization tasks
- Handle data management and reporting responsibilities
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on SEO experience with demonstrable results
- Native-level Bulgarian language skills with strong cultural understanding
- Strong working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript for SEO purposes, including basic code reading and writing abilities
- In-depth knowledge of best practices across major search engines (Google, Bing, Baidu, and others)
- Extensive experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, and WebTrends
- Advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis and reporting
- Expertise with third-party SEO tools including Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Majestic
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with consistent deadline achievement
- Strong understanding of how various marketing channels (display ads, social media, email, affiliates, traditional media) interact with and influence SEO performance
- Office 365 license installed on your device for task completion
